What is Giftiamo?

Giftiamo is an international e-commerce that allows you to buy digital gift card for yourself or for others. Sending a gift card is an excellent idea for every important occasion such as birthdays, degrees, weddings, various holidays, or to have a comfortable digital payment tool for your shopping.

What is a digital gift card and what is different from the gift cards found in stores?

Instead of the plastic Gift Card you find in stores, the digital Gift Card is a file, which you can print or save to your cell phone or computer. It usually bears the logo of the issuing sign, an alphanumeric or bar code, the amount of credit in euros, the expiration date and a personalized dedication from the sender. To spend a digital Gift Card, you must print it out or show it at the store checkout at the time of payment if you have chosen a store, or use the code on the voucher in the appropriate sections if you have chosen an e-commerce.

How does Giftiamo work?

Giftiamo allows you to give digital Gift Cards to your friends or purchase them for yourself. After registering, you can select sign and amount of the Gift Card and you can also personalize your gift by adding a dedication. Payment can be made through a Visa, Mastercard or Maestro circuit card.

Do I have to register to buy?

Yes, we ask you for a few seconds and some data but it is very important, especially for the keeping your data safe.

When is it possible to download a Gift Card?

Gift Cards can be downloaded at the time your order is approved however no later than two business days after payment. It may therefore happen that your Gift Card is not immediately available for download. This is done for security reasons to ensure the consumer and our customers.

Why is it required to authenticate me with a code (OTP)?

The OTP (one-time password) code is a quick and easy step to confirm your account, we ask for it to protect your security and always guarantee you a certified purchase on your account. We know it is really you and we trust you :-)

I received a Gift Card, do I need to register on Giftiamo to use it?

No, you can download the voucher directly on the platform without having to register. Follow the instructions in the email you received to download the codes.

How do I know if a person downloaded the gift?

You will receive an email notification only when your gift has been sent to the gift recipient.

Orders

How can I make the payment?

Payment can be made through a Visa, Mastercard or Maestro Card card.
Important Info: at this time, we cannot accept payments via PostePay cards due to a situation beyond our management.

How can I do this if I am not sure if my purchase was completed successfully?

If you have placed an order on Giftiamo, but are not sure if the purchase was completed successfully or if the recipient received the Gift Card, please contact us via the form, indicating order number, Giftiamo site registration email address, and issue encountered.

I am a company, where do I discharge the invoice?

If you are a company, log in to the GiftCard Store and complete the operation on our B2B e-commerce.

Can I send gift cards to multiple recipients in one order?

No, you can only send a gift card to one recipient (besides yourself) within one order

What is the current status of my order?
ProcessingThe order is being processed; within 10 minutes its status will be updated, which can be positive or negative. PendingThe order requires further investigation by our operators. On HoldThe outcome of our operators' checks is negative, consequently the order has been blocked. CompleteThe order has been successfully processed. The user can access the links of the you want vouchers. Complete PostponedThe order, with gift option, was successfully processed. The recipient of the order will be able to access the links to his or her voucher(s) on the date entered in the order. For same-day gift orders placed, it will take approximately fifteen minutes to complete the technical process. RefundedThe order has been refunded. CanceledThe order has been cancelled as a result of the (manual or automated) security checks performed.

Gift Card

How can I download a purchased Gift Card?

In order to download your Gift Card, you must log into the platform and enter the Order Summary section of your Personal Area.

How do I know the expiration date of Gift Cards purchased?

The duration of the Gift Card depends on the store or e-commerce chain chosen. Gift Cards can be used until the expiration date indicated on it, after which date they can no longer be used.

Can Gift Cards be returned?

The Customer has the right to withdraw, without penalty and without specifying the reason, within 14 (fourteen) days from the time Amilon, in execution of an Order, has made the Gift Cards available. The right of withdrawal referred to in this paragraph shall remain expressly excluded and its exercise shall not be possible if the Customer has used, pursuant to Article 3.9, the Gift Cards covered by the Order from which it intends to withdraw.

Can I use multiple gift cards to buy a single article?

Depends on the Brands. Some brands may place limitations and not allow Gift Cards to be combined in a single shopping cart. Check the voucher details for each merchant's terms and conditions of use, or contact us via the form.

Where can I use my gift card?

You can use your Gift Card both online and in store. Check each merchant's terms and conditions of use to learn how you can use your voucher.

Can the recipient see the gift before the delivery date?

The gift recipient will receive the Gift Card by e-mail on the day you choose.

Can I purchase a Gift Card now and then get it to the recipient after a week?

Yes. After selecting the Gift Card of the desired brand, select "Gift a Friend" and open the menu "Would you like to schedule the gift?" With this feature you can schedule the sending date and time slot for receiving the gift.
