The ITA Airways Gift Card is a digital prepaid card that can be used to purchase flight tickets (one‑way or round‑trip) and additional services exclusively on the Italian market website and app of ITA Airways (www.ita-airways.com/it_it).

The Gift Card is issued in euros, is valid until the expiration date specified in the delivery email, and can be used for multiple purchases until the credit is fully consumed. It cannot be renewed, refunded, or converted into cash, not even in case of loss or theft, and cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards. After the expiration date, it can no longer be used and any remaining balance is forfeited.

The flight purchased with a Gift Card must be completed within 12 months from the Gift Card’s expiration date. During the booking process, you can enter the Gift Card number and PIN on the payment page. If the Gift Card value exceeds the cost of the booking, the remaining balance will stay available until expiration; if it is lower, you may pay the difference with a credit card or with other Gift Cards (up to a maximum of 3 Gift Cards, only if they cover the full ticket price). The Gift Card cannot be used with PayPal, with the “Price Block” service, or in the “Manage Booking” section or during web check‑in.

In case of voluntary cancellation, refunds follow the fare rules: if permitted, the amount paid with the Gift Card will be re‑credited to the same Gift Card, maintaining its original expiration date. If the flight is cancelled by ITA Airways, the refund will be issued using the same payment methods originally used, including the Gift Card.

Purchasing and using the Gift Card implies acceptance of the Terms and Conditions published on the ITA Airways website. The purchaser has the right to withdraw from the Gift Card purchase within 14 days from receipt, provided that the Gift Card has not been used even partially; in the event of a valid withdrawal, ITA will cancel the Gift Card and refund the amount to the original payment method.

Responsibility for the Gift Card transfers to the purchaser or designated recipient upon electronic delivery; from that moment, all risks (loss, theft, improper use) fall exclusively on them. ITA Airways is not responsible in case of an incorrect email address or unauthorized use of the code by third parties.
