INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR GIFT CARD:
The Gift Card can be purchased on this site in 4 values of € 25.00, € 50.00, € 100.00 and € 150.00.
The Gift Card is associated with a code (consisting of a Gift Card Code and Anti-fraud Code for a total of 19 alphanumeric digits) which can be used to buy Trenitalia tickets (single tickets, season tickets, carnets, etc.) for national, regional and international trains on the main Trenitalia sales channels (tickets cannot be bought on board trains using the Gift Card). At the time of payment, all 19 digits (including zeros) must be entered, paying attention to upper case and/or lower case.
The card is not nominative. The electronic credit is added to the forms of payment currently envisaged.
The credit is scalable (it can be used several times until depleted), is valid for 3 years from the time of issue/purchase and can be used in combination with other methods of payment (e.g. cash, credit card, etc.). The Gift Card is not for sale and is not redeemable for cash. In the case of theft or loss, issue/recovery of the code is not available.
The ticket purchased using a Gift Card follows the rules of second contacts envisaged for the type of ticket chosen. The customer retains the right to use the amount paid with the Card also in the case of second contacts (changes, refunds and access to other trains). It should be noted that in the case of refund, the amount due (less any deductions) will be automatically credited by the system to the Gift Card/electronic credit originally used.
If you make the purchase on the trenitalia.com website, the discount coupon will be sent in digital format within the Gift Card confirmation email.
